All J&K cabinet doors are made from 100% solid wood as standard. Only premium materials are used to avoid particleboard in cabinet construction, so there is no MDF or HDF used in the construction of any J&K Traditional cabinet door, trim, or molding. Cabinet boxes are made from 1/2" to 5/8" thick plywood, and every Traditional Cabinet from J&K features soft-close hinges and full-extension drawer glides. That means you're getting a long-lasting product made with durability in mind. All J&K cabinet collections are CARB2 compliant and NKBA affiliated.

Soft-close hinges and drawers with soft-close metal glides offer smooth and silent functionality for reduced noise and less wear and tear from heavy, everyday use. Doors and drawers being opened and shut over and over again can be tough on the product. Using soft close technology on these cabinets can reduce the effects of constant use, preserving the cabinet to extend its lifespan.

J&K has over 15 different colors available. The four most popular choices are glazed cream, chocolate, mocha, and mahogany, each one a great choice to complement or complete your home's interior design style with luxury and affordability. For example, mahogany finish provides deep, rich red and brown tones. Creme Glazed finish features a warm tone with a hand-rubbed glaze.

J&K Contemporary cabinets are typically considered semi-customizable, which helps to maintain RTA cost-efficiency. All J&K cabinets are low maintenance, and the Traditional Collection is no exception. After installation, be sure to clean your cabinets with a damp cloth, a non-abrasive cleanser, and some warm water to keep your cabinets looking their best. Be sure to wipe up any spills as soon as they happen to reduce the potential for moisture damage, and always avoid using harsh chemicals and rough scouring pads when cleaning your cabinets, or you could damage the finish.

J&K cabinets come with a limited warranty for defects. A 5-year limited warranty protects against defects in materials or manufacturing when used in normal residential conditions. Coverage lasts for 5 years from the date of purchase or the length of time in which the original purchaser owns the home; the shorter duration takes precedence. There is also a one-year warranty that covers cabinet hardware, including door hinges and drawer glides.
